Orientations for volunteers are usually held at the end of each six week session, but please contact the office for specifics as there may be changes due to class schedule. For a person with special needs, just a one hour class each week can make a real difference. As a volunteer, so will you.
Assist with riding classes and horse care, general responsibilities include:
Volunteers interested in the above need to be in generally good health and able to walk for 30 minutes or more during class, as well as, jog for short distances while the horse trots. Volunteers commit to about 90minutes on the same time and day each week. There is a wide-range of class days/times to choose from. Work "Behind the Scenes" with administrative and other activities

Individuals desiring to help with riding classes must attend our Volunteer Orientation sessions before becoming a volunteer in class. All volunteers are encouraged to attend, as there is a good deal to learn about Mountin' Hopes.
